WAWASAN: Jurnal Ilmiah Agama dan Sosial Budaya is a periodical academic journal which is published by Ushuluddin Faculty UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung incorporate with the scholars association: Himpunan Peminat Ilmu-ilmu Ushuluddin (HIPIUS) publishes twice in the year (January and July). This Journal publishes new results studies and original researches on Islamic studies, and Religious studies related to social and cultural context in Indonesia in the perspective of Ushuluddin studies and its related teachings resources; Qur’an, Hadith, theology, Islamic thought and philosophy, tasawuf (Islamic mysticism), and cultural and social theories for Religious studies.
This journal born in about 1980 namely WAWASAN, has published in printed version with ISSN number 0215-109X up to Vol. 38, No. 2, July 2015. WAWASAN has been accredited with B level (National) by The Ministry of National Education, Republic of Indonesia (SK Dirjen Dikti Nomor 55/DIKTI/Kep/2005) and has been no longer valid at 2010. Since 2016, this journal has published in electronic and printed version with a new ISSN number: 2502-3489 (e-ISSN) and 2527-3213 (p-ISSN), namely WAWASAN: Jurnal Ilmiah Agama dan Sosial Budaya, has started new volume Vol. 1, No. 1, January 2016.
