DOAJ is a community-curated online directory that indexes and provides access to high quality, open access, peer-reviewed journals. All DOAJ services are free of charge including being indexed. All data is freely available. We believe that DOAJ is independent, with this believe Relawan Jurnal Indonesia (RJI) support this community by take part in donations.

Even though Journal publishers don’t need to donate to be part of DOAJ, RJI as a big community that gather hundreds of journal publishers across Indonesia, want to show a commitment to support more in Open Science Movement, especially in Indonesia. This support is a small step to amplified the message for everyone who know and being part of RJI about better science community with open science for everyone. RJI’s member and communities also see open access as the only truly sustainable model for the future of scholarly publishing, like DOAJ.

We also believe that DOAJ indexes and promotes quality, peer-reviewed open access journals from around the world, hundreds of RJI’s member journal already indexed in DOAJ. This strong connection will be stronger enough to drive more development in science and education, not only in Indonesia, but also around the world,

We proud to become part of development a community like DOAJ, who become the most important community-driven, open access service in the world and has a reputation for advocating best practices and standards in open access.

DOAJ has a global editorial team via a network of Managing Editors, Ambassadors and volunteers, for almost three years, Relawan Jurnal Indonesia support DOAJ by sending their best member volunteering DOAJ to become Ambassadors, Editors and Associate Editors.
